S.O.S news

Save Our Springwood is now incorporated!

Given the importance of the Springwood Revitalisation Project and the strength of public disapproval S.O.S. members considered it practical to become an incorporated legal entity. This move will provide many benefits in the long-term such as enabling S.O.S. to hire the Civic Centre for future public meetings which has been prohibitive in the past. Furthermore, as a legal entity we are able to apply for grant funding from the State and Federal Governments as well as from various banks and other organisations.

S.O.S. can also now accept members. Membership forms can be downloaded from this website (here) and returned with membership fee to:

The Treasurer
Save Our Springwood
PO Box 521

Alternatively, bring yourself and the form along to our next meeting in the Town Square (see Gazette for details) or come along on the 3rd Saturday in the month.

Chamber backs S.O.S.

The S.O.S. Committee was excited to receive support and backing from the Springwood Chamber of Commerce and looks forward to working together for a more economically and culturally viable Springwood.

Chamber has undertaken some new initiatives of recent months, one being the introduction of Springwood Super Savers. Look in the first Gazette for the month to find a full page of vouchers, valid until the end of the month, offering you savings at many participating local businesses.
